Hi, This lot is the rare 1939 Original Hardback. The second year of the new style hardback. This book has very nice boards, the gilt to the front is bright and only a tiny fade to the spine gilt which is nice to see, the main thing to note are the hinges, they both hold the boards off the floor so some strength in them but both are showing a lot of mesh.
