Hi, The thin WW2 hardbacks are always tricky to find, getting back to '46 isn't too tricky and the majority of sets you see come to market start at '46, the collectors first big challenge is to get complete back to the rare 1941. Here is a set from 1941 through to 1945, all Original hardbacks. This set will help any collector that wants to cover that gap, not spend too much and doesn't have too much of an issue regarding book condition. This set is in just OK condition. The books should be treated as reference set as there are defects to the books, but this means they are super cheap (we are listing a VG and Mint set also, the mint set is £1500 more). Things to note are that the books are well read, dulled boards and gilts, the hinges are just ok but they are all in one piece and complete without restoration. The 1941 has heavy wear to the boards and a weaker hinge than the rest, the 1944 is ex library, creases to the 1943 cover and 7/6 pink mark inside. The 45 has a white mark to the front.
